St. Ives
A traditional british market town St. Ives has different markets during the week, traditional market square, modern stores such as FatFace, Waitrose, Morrisons.
Additionally there are Bank Holiday and farmer's markets throughout the year held on the Market Square.
In addition to all the town conveniences there are beautiful river walks by the Great Ouse that runs through the town along with the varied eating establishments.
City of Ely
Located approx 18 miles east of The Lodges is the City of Ely, the Cathedral at Ely is world famous and due to it's promenance on the skyline has earned the name 'the ship of the fens'

Huntingdon
8 miles to the north is the market town of Huntingdon, with regular markets each week, a bustling high street and new retail developments Huntingdon is a town on the rise.
Visit the Dobbies Huntingdon Garden Centre or Johnson's of Old Hurst. Additionally if you are feeling like some cheeky chocolate Hotel Chocolat have their factory in Huntingdon with a Factory Outlet Store at their site

Capital of the county, the City of Cambridge is just 10miles to the south of The Lodges, providing more shopping than you could ever want in the Grand Arcade and the Grafton Centre or more 'out of town' shopping experience in the City at the Cambridge Retail Park.
After you've shopped 'til you drop you can of course partake of a College Tour, Sightseeing Open Top bus ride, Eat at one of the many and varied restaurants to be found in the City or maybe catch a movie and a spot of ten pin bowling at the Cambridge Leisure park or maybe take a punt on the River Cam.
